How it works
Sources
- Release names, dates, builds, platforms and descriptions come from Blackmagic Design's public downloads feed, quoted exactly.
- Plugin lines are quoted exactly from each vendor's own page. We fetch each vendor at most once a day, honour robots.txt, and never work around a block: a blocked page is marked “manual check”.
- Every quote is re-checked against the saved source file (with its fetch time and SHA-256) before each build. One mismatch stops the build.
Status rules (fixed, no judgment)
- vendor lists this version: a quote contains the exact major.minor (e.g. 21.1).
- vendor lists major only: a quote contains only the major version (e.g. 21).
- not stated: anything else, including “18 and newer”. We don't infer support from ranges.
Quotes are scanned from the word “Resolve” onward so OS versions such as “Windows 11” aren't mistaken for Resolve versions.
Independence
Statuses are computed by the rules above only. No vendor, sponsor or advertiser can change them.
